Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Alice Guest House, with its convenient location just a short walk from town and the coach station, often charms guests with its unique character; some find the decor a bit dated, but the rooms are generally considered cozy, with features like four-poster beds in some rooms and garden views from others. Many appreciate the bright and spacious garden rooms with a Moroccan vibe, and the available amenities like tea and coffee facilities. The breakfast, especially the eggs on toast and cafetiere coffee, is frequently mentioned as a highlight, enjoyed in a sunroom overlooking the garden.

a mostly satisfactory visit

good breakfast welcome breakfast wonderful host friendly host hotel key room key shared bathroom dirty bathroom difficult parking limited parking space issue parking space
I found the breakfast to be very good. It was a simple but welcome start to the day. the host was also quite wonderful. she was warm and friendly while still respecting my privacy and space. i also appreciated the key, which allowed me to come and go as i pleased.
the shared bathrooms needed some updating. i also found them a bit dirty. parking was difficult since there is no parking available at the hotel. the streets nearby made it hard to find a space.
